About Becky Campbell of Sewforever Archival Quilt Storage

Becky Campbell, Sewforever archival quilt storage

A few years ago I was enjoying a quilt presentation at The Ohio Historical Center. They have a wonderful collection, including some very old quilts. Someone ask how the quilts are stored. The answer was they are folded with archival tissue paper placed along the folds and periodically they are refolded to change the folds lines.

I ask myself why are we folding our quilts for storage. I know the reasonable answers; space, time, ease of folding and laying it on the stack of quilts already in the corner. But all the love and work that goes into a quilt shouldn't be marred by fold lines that never come out. At that moment I dedicated myself to designing a solution.

I have been sewing since I was very young. Quilting has become my favorite form of expression. Our quilts are labors of love. I hope future generations will have the opportunity to enjoy then. That is why I developed these products to protect and preserve our quilts when they are not in use.
