Pole Sleeves

You may need a support pole to roll your quilt around. I suggest 1/2" electrical PVC; it is light weight and non-bendable. Pipe insulation is a perfect padding that fits right over the PVC. You can cut both to any length. These items are available at the hardware store. You can also use wooden dowels, old broom handles, whatever will provide stability to keep your quilt from sagging. Some of my quilts have a wooden slat that I use to hang the quilt, that can double as a support pole. The pole sleeve protects your quilt from the inside out by covering the support pole in Tyvek®
